In the country with the most significant black population outside Africa, racism is institutionalized. So, when upcoming artist Baco Exu do Blues asked us to launch his second album, Bluesman, we didn’t make it just about the songs.

We turned it into a movement that broke the stereotypes of Blackness imposed by society and changed the course of Brazilian rap forever.
